Judges revealed for Rising Stars

With the nominations deadline coming up on Friday, June 10, the judges for the Insurance Business Canada Rising Stars showcase have been revealed.

The judging panel includes:

• Asima Zahid, Director – Market Development at Lloyd’s Canada Inc.
• Sheldon Williams, Chair at Canadian Association of Black Insurance Professionals
• Vinita Jajware-Beatty, President at the Toronto Insurance Women’s Association
• Shirley Chisholm, Vice President Financial Institutions & Professional Services Practice at the Ebony Women International Insurance Network (EWIN) / Marsh Canada

Readers and colleagues are invited to submit their nominations for this list of young exceptional insurance professionals. If you are, or you know, someone who is truly an exceptional insurance professional aged 35 or younger that has made a difference in the industry, nominate them now via this online form.

The seventh annual Rising Stars 2022 showcase, proudly supported by the Canadian Association of Black Insurance Professionals (CABIP), the Toronto Insurance Women's Association (TIWA) and the Ebony Women International Insurance Network (EWIIN), will be selected with the assistance of an independent advisory panel and published in Insurance Business Canada’s online edition in September.
