Hub International acquires yet another Canadian insurance brokerage; this time, the company has swooped in for the Saskatchewan-based Prince Albert Insurance Limited.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Located in Prince Albert, AB, Prince Albert Insurance Limited is a full-service, independent insurance brokerage that offers personal, commercial, farm and specialty products insurance. The transaction is in line with Hub’s ongoing strategy to grow organically, as well as strengthen its industry and product expertise via acquisitions.
As part of the transaction, Prince Albert Insurance Limited vice president and director Ron Wesolowski will join HUB International Manitoba Limited. Wesolowski will also report to HUB International Manitoba Limited president and CEO Keith Jordan.
Last week, Hub made another acquisition – buying the insurance and risk management firm Seymour Alper in Mount Royal, QC. Seymour Alper provides solutions and expertise in various industries, and the firm specializes in apparel/textiles, retail, real estate, and manufacturing.
