Twitch, the game streaming site that Amazon acquired for almost a billion dollars last year, has been hacked. A company blog post warned that there had been "unauthorized access to some" user accounts and that some personal information may have been compromised. Twitch said that it had disconnected accounts from user’s Twitter and Facebook accounts and canceled passwords to help protect users. It said that users would need to choose new passwords on their next visit to the site and that they should also change passwords on any other sites for which they use the same password.
