Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Optimum Talent in Montreal, QC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Optimum Talent, founded in 1981, is one of Canada's largest privately-owned integrated talent management firms. The firm operates in three targeted segments: search solutions, leadership assessment & development, and career transition & outplacement.
Following the transaction, Optimum Talent’s Ron Dahms, Mike Bacchus and their associates will continue to operate from their current locations. They will report to Gallagher Canada benefit and HR consulting division CEO Melanie Jeannotte, and Gallagher human resources & compensation global managing director Scott Hamilton.

Gallagher reported a “strong” third quarter during its last earnings report, citing revenue growth in in brokerage and risk management, both organically and through M&A.
