BFL Canada has expanded its national footprint by opening its first provincial location in New Brunswick.
The new office is in Tracadie-Sheila and marks the company’s 26th location nationwide and its third within the Maritime provinces.
A news release from BFL Canada said the move reflects its commitment to supporting key sectors of New Brunswick’s economy, particularly agriculture and fishing.
In addition to these sectors, the team in the Tracadie-Sheila office also specializes in transportation, construction, and surety bonds, according to the release.
Leading this team is Lena Fournier, a client manager with over 15 years of industry expertise. They will work closely with Glen Bates, managing partner for the Atlantic provinces.
President and COO Lisa Giannone spoke of BFL Canada’s decision to open its first New Brunswick branch and said the new location will “enable us to offer local service to businesses in the province and increase our impact from coast to coast.”
BFL Canada has made recent moves to reinforce its presence within the Atlantic provinces, including appointing Bates to his current position.
“His principal objective is to perpetuate BFL Canada’s growth throughout the Maritimes,” the company said in a statement.
BFL Canada is an employee-owned and operated risk management, insurance brokerage, and employee benefits consulting services firm. It currently has over 1,200 professionals in 26 cities across Canada.
In September, BFL Canada partnered with Réseau Québécois des OSBL d’habitation (RQOH) to support one of the largest non-profit housing portfolios in Quebec.
