Peter leads the WA Corporate team providing advice on a variety of industries for their General Insurance requirements.
Starting his insurance career in 1998, Peter worked as a Senior Underwriter at SGIO/CGU for six years underwriting General Insurance involving Property, Casualty, Motor and Workers Compensation. With a solid grounding on Insurance Products, Peter made the transition from dealing with insurance brokers to becoming an insurance broker in 2004.
Over the last 20 years, Peter has gained extensive knowledge and experience dealing with publicly listed and large privately owned companies with Australian and International operating exposures with a heavy emphasis on manufacturing, blue- and white-collar workforces, transport & logistics, property owner/investor and hospitality businesses.
As a well-respected general insurance specialist, he works very closely with clients to educate and promote them into a ‘seller of risk’ rather than just a buyer of insurance, providing meaningful data and strategy that allows clients to better understand how their insurances interact with their business, whilst understanding that not everything is to be insured nor should it be.
This gives our clients more control over their insurance programs, leading to better outcomes from their insurance partners.
