Martin Birch

Martin Birch is the Principal of Agrisurance. In his general insurance brokerage Martin covers a broad class of general insurance products, seeking optimal risk management and insurance outcomes for clients. Growing up with a farming background he has a special interest in the Food, Fiber and Agribusiness sector. He is an Authorized Representative of Omnisure and is located in their office in Sydney. 

Martin has experience as a co-founder of a specialist agricultural underwriting agency, a former public not-for-profit company (discretionary mutual fund), has product & portfolio management insurance experience in the Technical Division of a global insurer, as well as experience as a property investment banker & agricultural adviser for Barclays Bank.  His professional history includes being a Member of the Statistics Committee of the industry’s Crop Insurance Services Pty Ltd as product manager for Allianz Insurance Australia.
