Austin is an expert in the construction insurance sector, having worked extensively with a variety of clients, ranging from architects and engineers, to dedicated construction firms and highly specialised civil contractors.

Throughout his career, Austin has particularly focused upon hard-to-place risks, enjoying the challenge associated with them, and the close relationships formed with clients throughout this process. Austin also maintains a holistic risk management approach – working proactively to ensure that his clients are well informed as to their risk and how this can be best managed, before ultimately securing insurances which cohesively address this. In order to best serve his clients, Austin has also developed extensive relationships with insurers locally and overseas, and an in-depth knowledge of market appetite, which in turn enables him to secure positive and favourable outcomes.
