World Travel Protection (WTP) has promoted client relationship director Cheryl Hood to global client relationship director.
Hood has been with WTP for over 13 years. Since joining the company as an emergency assistance case manager, she has climbed up the corporate ladder, including taking the role of Australian operations manager for five years.
The new role will see Hood offer greater support and account management to WTP's global clients, operational team, and sales team.
WTP CEO Adrian Leach said the promotion elevates Brisbane-based Hood to a global level, with WTP account managers across the globe reporting to her.
“Cheryl's practical approach and extensive knowledge of WTP's diverse operations, coupled with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners and clients, have made her the go-to person for the WTP team,” Leach said.
“I am thrilled to take on this new challenging role as WTP continues its global growth strategy,” Hood said. “I am dedicated to guiding our clients through a high-touch experience, and I look forward to continuing to build on these relationships as they are integral to our organisation.”
Early this year, WTP promoted Alerah Turner, who has also been with the company for many years, to chief operating officer.
