Part of the INSIGHT ecosystem, the new application allows Steadfast brokerages to offer an online insurance service with an automated workflow, designed for scheme-based businesses.
INSIGHT, Steadfast’s cloud-based broking platform, integrates with SCTP to provide brokers with a view of their clients and real-time business insights. Since its first brokerage migration in 2016, Steadfast Technologies now supports over 7,000 daily users on the platform.
Antonella Shannahan, general manager of INSIGHT, said Steadfast Apps reflects the company’s focus on leading-edge platforms.
“The new application can completely remove the process of quoting, invoicing, and receipting payment, which is particularly useful for those low premium, high-volume transactions that take up a lot of brokers’ precious time,” she said. “We know a priority for brokers in FY25 is finding more efficient ways to run their client’s business. We developed Steadfast Apps with that in mind – by removing some of the volume of small yet time-consuming tasks, brokers can invest more time in client relationships, advice, and complex risks analysis.”
Steadfast Apps also supports white labelling, allowing brokerages to extend their brand presence.
“Another highlight is that Steadfast Apps transactions integrate seamlessly with INSIGHT and its dashboards, empowering brokers to make more data-driven decisions,” Shannahan said. “We’ve received fantastic feedback from our pilot group so far, and we’re excited to release it to the wider Steadfast broker network to help them save precious time.”
Steadfast Technologies said it consistently updates its platforms based on broker feedback, with 10 new releases for INSIGHT in FY24 alone.
“In the last 12 months, we’ve implemented significant efficiencies to our open API, compliance and tasking modules, and our integrated Business Performance Dashboards for INSIGHT. Steadfast Apps is the next important step for our insurance technology ecosystem,” Shannahan said.
The launch of Steadfast Apps comes on the heels of the overhaul of Steadfast Group’s Australasian networks, broker, and insurer services division – with Kasun Jayaratne taking on the newly created role of general manager of AU network, broker, risk, and insurance services.
