The shift from face-to-face interactions to remote communication prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic over the past few years has resulted in an insurance technology (insurtech) boom in Australia. This year, Insurance Business Australia (IB) has identified the companies that have provided some of the most innovative insurance technology solutions the market has ever seen.
The IB research team found the best insurance technology providers for 2022 by conducting one-on-one interviews with brokers and surveying thousands more within the Insurance Business network to gain a keen understanding of what insurance professionals think about current market offerings. The IB team then asked tech providers to nominate their solutions, explaining the features that make them the best in the market and why they stand out against their competitors. Afterwards, the IB team reached out to brokers and asked them to rate their overall satisfaction with the technology providers they had dealt with.
IB narrowed down this year’s 5-Star insurance techology award winners by choosing the top-scoring technology and software providers. Some of the winners are:
