Lockton Re has announced that Debbie Goldstine (pictured above) will join the company as chief growth officer, global partners. Goldstine will be based in Chicago and will work with clients, markets, and colleagues across the globe.
Goldstine transitions to Lockton Re from Lockton itself, where she served as executive vice president and US practice leader for casualty, technical intelligence, and emerging risks. During her time in that role, she contributed to the development of the casualty team and became recognized as an expert in emerging risk management.
She is known for her client advocacy and leadership in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, according to the firm.
Nick Durant, CEO of Lockton Re North America, commented on Goldstine’s appointment, stating that her role will be key to the company's global expansion strategy.
“When we started building out Lockton Re five years ago, we committed to hiring the most talented people to drive our business and, ultimately, our client’s success — and Debbie is a key part of our continued growth strategy,” Durant said.
Goldstine expressed enthusiasm for joining Lockton Re and collaborating with her global colleagues.
“It has been a career highlight to experience a phenomenal growth journey working in Lockton’s retail business for the past 19 years and I feel fortunate to have this next opportunity to be part of another run within the Lockton family,” Goldstine said.
Keith Harrison, CEO International at Lockton Re, also commented on Goldstine’s arrival, citing her extensive experience working with respected partners in the insurance and reinsurance sectors.
Harrison stated that her expertise will be crucial as the company continues to focus on innovative solutions for its clients.
Earlier this month, Lockton Re also announced the appointment of Rachel Cohn as senior broker.
Cohn will lead the newly established international casualty facultative practice, which will be part of the existing international property and casualty (P&C) division based in London. She is expected to join later this month.
