The Australian and New Zealand Institute for Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has announced the return of two significant reinsurance events for 2024: the Reinsurance International Study Course (RISC) and the Reinsurance Rendezvous Conference.
“ANZIIF’s Reinsurance Events are where expertise meets innovation. These events offer industry professionals the chance to expand their knowledge, build their networks, and gain valuable insights into the emerging concerns within the reinsurance sector,” said ANZIIF CEO Katrina Shanks.
RISC, aimed at professionals seeking to advance their careers, offers access to top reinsurance experts with extensive experience.
The event will be held over four days in Hawkesbury Valley, New South Wales (NSW), from August 11 to 14, 2024.
The RISC program includes a practical syndicate group work, expert presentations, and team-building activities. Participants will design and test reinsurance programs in real-life scenarios. Completing the assessments offers credit toward ANZIIF membership and the option to claim a digital badge.

This biennial three-day conference provides updates on reinsurance market trends and offers networking opportunities.
Suncorp CEO Steve Johnston will address the conference, discussing current challenges in the insurance and reinsurance sectors.
The event will take place in Hunter Valley, NSW, from October 14 to 16, 2024, featuring talks and panel discussions by industry leaders.
The Reinsurance Rendezvous Conference will focus on market developments and insights from industry leaders. Attendees can expect panel discussions and presentations on emerging trends and the future of reinsurance. Networking opportunities will be available throughout the event.
