His appointment, it states, is aimed at driving growth, enhancing capabilities, and nurturing client relationships in Australia.
Vaisey, a chartered loss adjuster with over 20 years of experience, brings specialised knowledge in the investigation and management of intricate property claims to his new role. His extensive background spans major loss claims in various sectors across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Jason Wyer, general manager of property in Australia at Sedgwick, acknowledged Vaisey’s standing as an executive adjuster and business leader.
“Highly regarded for his experience as an executive adjuster and business leader, Jonathon also has a tremendous passion for mentoring colleagues and developing their technical capability through quality management frameworks,” he said. “His expertise and leadership in the Australian market will support the needs of our colleagues and clients in managing major and complex losses.”
Vaisey will use Sedgwick’s operating model, known as the “Art and Science of Loss Adjusting” technical competency framework, to ensure optimal service delivery. The model prioritises colleague development, performance enhancement, and optimisation programming as key components for success.
“I look forward to helping support our clients’ needs and the company’s long-term growth as we continue to develop our major and complex capabilities,” Vaisey said. “We have an incredible team of specialist adjusters with the resourcefulness and ingenuity to take good care of people and businesses across Australia when it matters most.”
Last month, Sedgwick bolstered its technology leadership team by creating a new role.
