TAL has announced the appointment of Georgina Croft to its executive team, slated to undertake the role of chief claims officer (CCO) starting March 1.
Croft (pictured) brings a wealth of experience, dedicating 13 years to Westpac, where she assumed various high-ranking positions. Notably, she served as the chief operating officer of the bank's insurance division and, more recently, as the chief customer services officer at BT Financial Group.
Her extensive background encompasses leading substantial operational teams, overseeing front-line customer service functions, and contributing to areas such as mergers and acquisitions, transformational change, risk and compliance, and corporate governance.
“TAL remains focused on delivering industry-leading claims experience and claims outcomes for our customers and partners, supported by a committed investment program in technology and digital capabilities,” said Brett Clark, TAL group CEO and managing director. “Georgina's extensive leadership experience and customer focus, joined with TAL's continued investment in digital-first claims services and our people, will continue to make the end-to-end claims experience better, faster, and simpler for our customers.”
“I look forward to working with the claims team to deliver even more for our customers and partners, to ensure that TAL leads in the industry in claims experience and claims outcomes, and that all TAL customers feel confident we will be there to help if the unexpected happens,” Croft said.
In other news, TAL was chosen by AMP as a default and retail insurance provider for its superannuation fund members.
