AIA Australia has enhanced its executive team with two strategic appointments.
Susan Turner steps in as the chief financial officer (CFO). Meanwhile, AIA Australia welcomes Anna Livingston as chief people & culture officer.
Turner brings with her a wealth of experience from a notable tenure as executive director, central operations, at The University of Sydney.
Turner’s background includes over 20 years of leadership in finance across various sectors including banking, wealth management, investment, and insurance. Her journey in the financial domain began at Zurich Insurance, leading her through pivotal CFO and COO roles at major banks such as Commonwealth Bank and Westpac.
Livingston’s career is distinguished by her advocacy for people, inclusion, and diversity. Her latest role as chief diversity and people officer at Tennis Australia saw her managing a vast team of 4,000 and spearheading the organisation’s inclusion and diversity initiatives.
AIA Australia CEO Damien Mu expressed his enthusiasm for having Turner and Livingston join the executive line-up.
“Susan and Anna both have impressive track records of success in their own fields, with strong leadership capability and expertise,” he said. “They will play a critical role in helping drive our focus on future readiness, championing healthier, longer, and better lives, and achieving high performance.”
The appointments follow AIA Australia’s announcement of a new ambassador.
