Specialist insurance law firm Sparke Helmore has announced that cyber expert Edward Osborne has re-joined the firm as a partner, with the promotion effective from January 01, 2021.
Osborne previously served as an associate at Sparke Helmore, specialising in cyber insurance with a focus on cyber risk, privacy, and data protection. He worked as a senior cybersecurity and privacy consultant at PwC and senior counsel and privacy director at a Fortune 500 group, where he was responsible for managing its privacy risk globally. He also worked across key jurisdictions such as North America, Europe, UK, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Commenting on the appointment, Sparke Helmore national managing partner Phillip Salem said: “I am proud to have Edward join our partnership. Edward is a leading practitioner and thought leader in the cyber risk space, and his promotion is very much testament to his exceptional skill.”
