Suncorp has strengthened its position in the personal injury insurance classes with the appointment of Stephen Loomes to the statutory portfolio team.
He has joined as a senior specialist within the statutory portfolio team, bringing over 34 years’ industry experience to Suncorp Commercial Insurance. His role will focus on growth and business optimisation across the statutory classes.
Stephen Loomes leaves behind his role as national statutory lines portfolio manager at
Zurich, where he worked for more than 14 years.
Chris McHugh, executive general manager statutory portfolio and underwriting with Suncorp Commercial Insurance said: “Stephen has a distinct mix of specialist skills having worked extensively in both workers compensation and compulsory third party (CTP) schemes over a period of some decades.”
