“I am thrilled to expand my relationship with Zurich,” Day said. “I’ve enjoyed spending time with their leadership and customers over the years and they are great supporters of the game of golf globally. They are a fantastic company to work with and I’m excited to have the Zurich brand and Zurich blue on my bag each week on tour.”
Zurich’s enhanced sponsorship with Day comes following the PGA Tour’s announcement of a format change to the 2017 Zurich Classic, introducing 80 two-man teams competing in rounds of best ball and alternate shot. Day was the first to commit to the Zurich Classic, teaming up with Rickie Fowler in the tournament.
