Specialist insurance law firm Wotton + Kearney has announced one new partner and six new special counsels.
Richard Johnson, an insurance law specialist with over 13 years of industry experience, has been promoted to partner in the firm’s Melbourne office.
Johnson joined Wotton + Kearney in February 2015 as senior associate, and has since then, made significant contributions to the firm and the broader insurance industry. His areas of expertise include Public & Products Liability, Property Damage, and Subrogated Recoveries.
Johnson has recently assisted insurer-clients in a number of complicated indemnity issues and has produced exceptional claims results across both liability and damage claims.
Wotton + Kearney has also promoted senior lawyers Katie Shanks, Maryan Lee, Suzanne Craig, Andrew Brennan, Allison Hunt, and Jonathan Maher to special counsel.
