A self-insurance specialist has been approved as a compliant supplier for claims and injury management solutions in NSW, Victoria, and the Commonwealth.
Health & Injury Solutions (HIMS Group Aus), a 100% Australian-owned and operated firm, has made a regulatory landmark, with its approval as a claims management services agent by WorkSafe Victoria.
“This is an incredible achievement for our niche firm, as we are now not only officially a self-insurers’ agent but we also sit at the same table as insurance companies as a compliant supplier of claims and injury management solutions in Victoria, NSW, and the federal jurisdiction known as Comcare,” said Chris Douglas, director of HIMS Group Aus.
Douglas said achieving compliant supplier status before the first anniversary of its launch is a “rare achievement.”
“While we are a young business, we have a very experienced and well-connected team in strategic claims and injury management, and these strong relationships helped us meet WorkSafe’s stringent requirements – which is an exceptional result for a start-up business such as the HIMS Group,” he said.
