In the 2023 Elite Women survey, nominees and nominators were asked what the most difficult thing was about being a woman in the insurance industry. Their responses included the gender pay gap, lack of senior leadership mentoring young talent, and stereotyping and unconscious bias.
Now, Insurance Business will again spotlight women leaders forging the path for other women to succeed in this once male-dominated industry.
Inclusion on the Elite Women list is not only a recognition of the work done by these influential professionals, but also an affirmation that the industry continues to grow and progress in the right direction towards gender equity.
Entry is open to all women in the Australia and New Zealand insurance industry. Nominations are invited via this online form.
Nominations close Friday, October 20.
