The Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ) has received the Most Satisfied Customers for Home Insurance award from financial comparison site, Canstar.
After conducting a survey of over 4,687 policyholders from various insurers, Canstar determined the winner by analysing the respondents' overall satisfaction with their insurance provider and their satisfaction in the following factors:
RACQ ranked first in most categories, including customer service, value for money, comprehensiveness of cover, and communication – with customer service and value for money being the main drivers of customer satisfaction.
Commenting on the recognition, RACQ chief executive insurance Trent Sayers emphasised the insurer's focus on its members, even at such a challenging time for the insurance industry.
“As a club that strives to put our members first, it's great to receive this industry recognition, as it demonstrates we are being there for our community when they need us most,” Sayers said. “With home insurance cover for things like damage or loss from storm, flood, hail, fire, and theft, we know that we are engaging with people in some of the most stressful times of their life.
“This award is a testament to our hard-working teams who always strive to deliver the best service, value, and experience possible for our members.”
