Adroit Insurance Group account manager Fleur Taylor has been awarded Austbrokers Holdings’ National Frank Earl Platinum Award 2013.
The award recognises outstanding performance in client service, business retention and growth, professional development and engagement within the insurance industry.
The judging panel, including Martin McAvenna, general manager A&I Member Services, Keith McIvor, chief broking officer Austbrokers Holdings and Matthew Driscoll NSW representative of the broker network steering committee, were blown away by Victorian Taylor’s passion and drive.
“Fleur Taylor was awarded the prestigious prize for her enthusiasm and innovation in the broking business,” said Mark Searles, Austbrokers CEO. “Fleur demonstrated substantial risk and technical experience […]. We were moved by her passion for her clients and business, and plays an active role in the local Geelong community.”
Taylor added: “I feel honoured that Austbrokers has recognised those qualities in me and I look forward to pushing my standards even higher.”
Adriot managing director Andrew Locke, who nominated Taylor for the award, said: “We are delighted that Fleur has been recognised for her dedication and hard work by the Austbrokers group. Since joining our business in 2011 she has applied her knowledge, expertise and leadership qualities making a considerable contribution to our business.”
The judges selected a total of six finalists. The others were Queenslander Marcus Hamill, Comsure, Patrick Molloy, Austbrokers AEI Transport, NSW, Austbrokers ABS Aviation’s Martin William of NSW, and South Australian finalist Morgan Jones from Austbrokers Terrace and Countrywide’s Tom Sullivan. Sullivan, also a Victorian finalist, received an honourable mention for his outstanding submission and presentation.
The award has been introduced in memory of Frank Earl who served as a Director of Austbrokers Holdings from April 2005 until his passing in 2010. As director, Frank made a significant contribution to the development of Austbrokers. His technical skill, competitive drive and ability to create long lasting and meaningful relationships remain a benchmark for all brokers.
