Gallagher Basset, the new claims management service provider for general lines across the icare Insurance for NSW (IfNSW) self-insurance portfolios, has announced the appointment of its IfNSW general-lines team.
Recruited to the Sydney-based team were Maria Bililis as team leader and Matthew Hooker as operations support services manager. Both are ex-
IAG employees who worked within the insurer's motor claims division.
Backed by a decade of experience in insurance and leadership roles, Bililis and Hooker will assist in the development of the IfNSW division at GB, including leading a team of people, providing strategic direction on products and portfolios, and quality assurance and business performance.
“Both Maria and Matthew are highly capable leaders. I have every confidence that they will demonstrate the ‘commercial mind, social heart’ ethos of icare to meet the needs of icare and NSW Government Agency clients.”
GB will commence managing all new claims from March 2018, with all existing claims transitioned by mid-2018.
