The year of insurtech is upon us

Australia’s regulators have been generally supportive of the insurtech revolution, with its introduction of the regulatory sandbox in late-2016, a framework it reviewed in late 2017.

While encouraging, there have been comments that the framework limits insurance start-ups from playing in the sandbox.
