Life insurance specialist TAL has launched the 2021 TAL Risk Academy program, an adviser education program that supports advisers' education goals by offering flexible learning pathways to assist advisers at every stage of their career.
Now in its seventh year, the TAL Risk Academy program provides virtual, on-demand, and face-to-face courses from entry-level foundation courses to advanced, technical topics for experienced advisers. It offers over 65 on-demand courses, which advisers can review as many times as they like, even after completing the course.
Most of the courses are free aside from the Risk Academy Masterclasses, which incur a $55 fee that TAL will donate to the Australian Business Community Network (ABCN) to help Australians from lower socio-economic backgrounds access quality education and reach their full potential.
Commenting on this year's program, TAL head of licensees and partnerships Beau Riley said: “This year, we'll see more industry and legislative changes come into effect, and we're committed to working in partnership with advisers to navigate those changes successfully and confidently.
“Whether it's guiding advisers through the FASEA Exam, the Code of Ethics or the changes coming to income protection, the personalised education at TAL Risk Academy delivered through the courses and educators will provide a comprehensive education that meets advisers' needs and helps them achieve their goals.”
