The four-day event, with the theme “Be Bold,” will tackle how women leaders can become authentic and transparent; seize and maximise opportunities; develop their executive presence and personal branding; maximise the mentor-mentee relationship; and future-proof their career.
Notable speakers will include Julie Batch, chief customer officer at IAG; Gary Dransfield, Suncorp insurance CEO; Ellis Hurley, chief risk officer at MLC Life Insurance; Kate Johnstone, Youi's head of compliance; Honnie Donders, general manager at
Bupa for VIC, TAS, SA, and NT; and Tamar Balkin, organisational psychologist and leadership coach at Balkin Coaching.
The event will also see GB's Stacey Williams, executive director for sales and account management, discuss her journey within the insurance industry.
“I am really proud to be speaking at a summit that embraces the development of leadership skills amongst women in the insurance Industry,” Williams said. “There are so many amazing and ambitious women in our industry and this will be a great opportunity to empower each other.”
GB will also sponsor an up-and-coming female leader to attend the event.
The summit will be held on May 21-24 in Parkroyal Hotel in Sydney.
