Suncorp has assigned a senior leader within its ranks with a new challenging task.

Suncorp has appointed Lisa Harrison, who currently serves as EGM of insurance operations, to the new role of chief program excellence officer, effective from July 01.

Suncorp CEO and MD Michael Cameron said that as chief program excellence officer, Harrison will be in charge of coordinating the company’s business plan deliverables, including key projects that have been prioritised to build the Suncorp marketplace.

“Lisa will play a key role in helping the team bring the marketplace to life so that our customers can benefit from having a simple, easy and fast experience, as well as being able to access best-in-class services and solutions from both Suncorp and third parties,” Cameron said.

The Suncorp boss said he looks forward to Harrison’s contribution making Suncorp “the destination for the moments that matter to our customers.”

“Lisa has held various senior roles at Suncorp since 2004 and is ideally placed to drive these programs which will directly benefit customers,” he said.

Prior to her new role, Harrison was executive manager of Suncorp’s personal insurance business planning and retention and BTL business; was head of GI brand and marketing; and EGM of customer distribution at Suncorp Life. Before joining Suncorp, she worked at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
