SWR is a professional broking, claims, and risk management service that assists corporate and small and mid-sized enterprise (SME) clients regarding workers’ compensation.
As businesses continue to adapt to a new way of working and changes in work, health, and safety requirements due to COVID-19, the rebranded division aims to help brokers provide greater value to their clients by helping them understand how to operate successfully and maintain longevity, including investing in robust work, health, and safety practices.
As part of the rebranding, SWR will be led by managing director and CEO Jason Thompson, who has more than three decades of National Workers Compensation and general insurance broking experience. Moving forward, he will use his extensive knowledge of workplace risk and be responsible for delivering the team’s collective expertise to clients.
SWR complements Steadfast Risk Group’s services and is composed of three key components:
“The impact of COVID on the work, health, and safety aspects of Australian businesses has presented many challenges for clients,” said Steadfast managing director and CEO Robert Kelly, expecting the SWR offering to play a key role in expanding the depth and breadth of workplace risks the group provides its clients during and post-COVID-19 pandemic.
Thompson added: “The Steadfast Workplace Risk offering has been created to provide sustainable and practical work health and safety options to give greater confidence and peace of mind to clients as we all continue to navigate through the current environment.”
