Steadfast Group, a general insurance broker network, has been re-certified as a Family Friendly Workplace. In a statement, the group has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
“At Steadfast, we believe that a supportive and inclusive work environment is essential for the success and wellbeing of our employees,” said Ferzana Yale, Steadfast Group executive general manager of people. “This re-certification as a Family Friendly Workplace is a testament to our ongoing efforts to create a workplace where our staff can thrive professionally and personally.”
The certification, granted by Family Friendly Workplaces, is reviewed every two years and is awarded to organisations that demonstrate leading policies and practices in flexible work, parental leave, family care, family wellbeing, leadership culture, and measurement. Steadfast was recognised for exceeding industry standards across all six key areas, according to a news release.
As part of its initiatives, Steadfast has also launched the Work + Family Hub, a resource designed to help employees balance their personal and professional lives. “We are also pleased to launch our new Work + Family Hub. This hub has been created as a resource for our employees to connect and share their own stories on juggling life, work, family, health and wellbeing. There’s something for everyone, no matter their life stage,” Yale said.
In addition to its workplace initiatives, Steadfast Group has reported an increase in the voting power of a substantial holder. Superannuation and Investments HoldCo Pty Ltd has increased its voting power from 5.16% to 6.25%.
