Here at Insurance Business, we like to champion the cause of the broker and give them a platform to voice their concerns, talk about their challenges and share their successes. However, nothing makes us prouder than having the opportunity to celebrate their achievements – which is why we’re delighted to reveal the Top Brokerages 2021 report.
Earlier this year, Insurance Business invited brokerages across Australia to submit nominations for this ninth annual showcase. To be eligible, brokerages had to have three or more brokers and be headquartered in the country.
They were then ranked on criteria such as: number of clients, client retention, clients per broker, policies written, revenue and revenue growth. Each brokerage was asked to supply its details for the 2020-21 financial year, and they were ranked across each category. These results were then added together to create an overall ranking using a system based on business per broker, rather than critical mass to single out the very best regardless of size.
Now, the results are in, with 20 brokerages making the list.
But which firms made it? There’s only one way to find out.
