Insurance Business asked 100s of brokers to rank Australia’s leading insurance companies across 11 categories to determine the top insurers in 2023.
Brokers revealed some of the most pressing challenges when working with insurers, including the declining art of underwriting, lack of communication, service and knowledge gaps, and more.
Berkley Insurance Australia emerged as 2023’s Insurer of the Year for its outstanding communication, training and development, overall service level, premium stability, and turnaround time.
In the report, brokers also gave their insights into the factors most relevant when working with an insurer, such as BDM support, online platforms and services, and product innovation, among others.
Brokers highlighted the importance of these factors, that flexibility is paramount to success when catering to clients and working towards building an insurance solution beneficial to all parties involved.
