A roadside assistance and insurance provider has announced the appointment of a new group CEO.
Current RAC group CEO Terry Agnew will step down from his role in late March after two decades of service and will be succeeded by Rob Slocombe, RAC chief operating officer.
Slocombe joined the motoring group in September 2014 as chief operating officer, bringing with him extensive financial services and banking experience, including roles at Westpac, St George, Challenger Financial Services, and AMP Bank.
“We are delighted to be able to appoint a person of Rob Slocombe’s calibre to the group CEO role and look forward to him leading RAC to further success into the future and on behalf our one million members in Western Australia,” said Tony Evans, RAC president.
Departing group CEO Agnew said Slocombe is a terrific appointment to the role.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Rob over the last four years,” Agnew said, “I look forward to working with him over the coming months to deliver a seamless transition.”
