ProRisk has announced Naomi Stewart as the new relationship and business development manager (BDM) for New South Wales] and Australian Capital Territory], effective May 27.
Stewart, who has spent the last 16 years as a BDM with Vero, brings extensive experience and a strong market presence to her new role.
Stewart’s responsibilities at ProRisk include identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering client relationships to support growth across the agency’s insurance offerings.
Her appointment aligns with ProRisk’s strategy to enhance its national presence.
“I am excited to join the Prorisk team,” Stewart said. “I look forward to fostering existing and new relationships and the opportunity to utilise my skills and experience to contribute to the success of Prorisk.”
ProRisk CEO Hamish McDonald Nye said the agency will continue to focus on strengthening its relationships with broking partners.

In 2023, the agency was among the excellence awardees for the 2023 Insurance Business Australia Awards’ Best Digital Strategy – Insurer category. Varkoly was also among the excellence awardees for the Underwriting Agencies Council Underwriting Agency BDM of the Year category. It also received the Underwriting Agency of the Year award in 2020 and the Most Valuable Team award in 2021 from the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
