With the small business sector facing unprecedented hardships brought about by the coronavirus pandemic, help comes in the form of grants worth a total of $100,000 through the combined forces of the Australian Institute of Business (AIB) and sports radio station SEN.

The partnership has launched the SEN Small Business Grant initiative, which will see a minimum of 20 businesses receive a $5,000 advertising package across the SEN network – allowing them to widely promote their message to potential customers amid the current climate that has generated a global spike in media consumption.

Commenting on the tie-up, AIB chief executive Paul Wappett stated: “We are proud to partner with SEN. We know this a tough time for businesses, people working in businesses, and for everyone in the community. These grants will really help.”

The entry form is available on the SEN website, and interested businesses have until April 17 to register.

Meanwhile SEN content director Sam Thompson, who believes rewards normally await businesses that sustain their advertising presence during a crisis, added: “Now, more than ever, consumers are wanting to hear from brands with relevant, timely information, so we are thrilled to help SMEs continue to promote themselves via the SEN Small Business Grants.”
