Oracle Group Australia (Oracle), an insurance broker network with authorised representatives (ARs) and offices across Australia, has added Carl Rumble to its executive team.
Rumble takes on the newly created role of general manager, complementing the recent appointments of Vickii Srbinovski (national compliance manager) and Sue Pender (national winbeat administration) and the external appointment of Tonia Colliver (national support & training manager, previously from EBIX).
Rumble brings a wealth of experience to his new role at Oracle, including a diverse skill base from having worked in sales, distribution, and management. He recently held the role of regional market manager for Australia at HDI Global SE Australia for the last six years. Previously, he worked as a global relationship leadership at Zurich Australia for three years.
Outside the insurance industry, Rumble was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW in 1996 after completing his Bachelor of Law & Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) in 1994 and then went back to Macquarie University to complete a Master of Applied Finance in 2008.
Oracle group managing director Matthew Denehy said: “This is a very strategic appointment as it demonstrates our commitment to establishing a solid foundation and operational framework behind the board of directors, along with enhancing the skillset and talent within the OG family. We have been on the lookout for a GM for over 12 months. We have waited for the right person, and Carl fits the position perfectly.”
