ANZ has introduced market-leading online claims functionality to its OnePath life insurance adviser portal OneView Life, to provide advisers “more control and certainty” over the claims process.
The enhancements will allow advisers to notify ANZ of their client’s intention to lodge a claim and capture required information using an online claim lodgement form; monitor the status of clients’ claims and payment history; and directly access data provider Unified Healthcare Group (UHG).
Through this access, advisers can now view the UHG status of current medical requests in one location should a OneCare application require further advice from a medical professional.
“It’s really about working in partnership with the client, the adviser, and the insurance provider to get a timely and appropriate outcome for the client. Our new OneView Life enhancements make this possible,” said Gerard Kerr, ANZ Wealth head of life insurance.
Kerr said a number of further enhancements will be rolled out over the next year “to give advisers more control and certainty, and help them deliver a great client experience.”
