OAMPS Insurance Brokers has strengthened its North Sydney corporate & specialty team with five new hires.
Donald Mitchell-Innes, pictured, has been appointed as the new Sydney corporate & specialty branch manager. In a career spanning 20 years, he started out with Price Forbes Group in South Africa before spending three years in London. He then immigrated to Australia in 1996 and worked for a number of international brokers.
Alan Wilkins, practice leader, will be responsible for the OAMPS marine business in Sydney. Most recently, he was the marine and transit customer group leader for Nacora International Insurance Brokers in London.
Natasha Barker, Gareth Bowler and Adam Sulway will also join the office as practice leaders.
Barker, previously a senior account manager, leads the venues, sport and manufacturing teams. She has been with OAMPS since 1997, and has more than 21 years of experience in the industry.
Bowler has 24 years’ international experience in the insurance industry, six years with a large multinational insurer and 18 years with an international broking firm. He will be OAMPS’ key contact for its Assurex network.
Sulway has previously worked in both the UK and Australia for international insurance brokers. In his most recent role, Sulway gained extensive large client broking experience, including managing a number of multi-national clients. He will be responsible for leading the OAMPS media and transport & logistics teams when he joins in April.
