Earlier this month, nominations opened for the 2018 Insurance Business Awards, a new broker-focused event that will celebrate excellence in the insurance industry. Twenty five award categories are open for entry, recognising the top-performing brokers and brokerages, insurers and underwriting agencies based on a range of criteria.

Nominations are the first step in an extensive process to determine the award winners, who will be announced at a black-tie event held at The Westin Sydney on May 04, 2018.
Categories are divided into broker awards, brokerage awards and insurer and underwriting agency awards. Following the nominations, further industry research will be conducted to determine the finalists, who will then be invited to complete comprehensive submissions for review by a judging panel comprising insurance industry leaders and senior executives.
