KPMG Australia and UNSW Sydney have launched a long-term collaboration and strategic partnership to attract and develop the skills of young professionals.
Already, the tie-up has started a number of initiatives, including the Horizon Program, which enables staff at UNSW and KPMG to enhance their core professional skills through workplace secondments, formal learning in general management, and an assessment of their leadership behaviours.
“We have already gained so much by working collaboratively, rather than in isolation of each other,” said Morgan McCullough, KPMG lead partner for UNSW Sydney. “This is a long-term commitment and so we’ll continue to discover new ways in which we can inspire confidence and empower change for our students, staff, and communities.”
“The newly formed partnership embodies UNSW’s priority to increase its engagement with the best in business to enhance the skills of its staff, accelerate the adoption and impact of research, and to provide enhanced opportunities for its students in the workplace,” said Brian Boyle, deputy vice-chancellor for enterprise at UNSW Sydney.
