After saying goodbye to a longstanding industry veteran, a provider of personal insurance services to Australian retirees has welcomed two new additions its board.
Following the retirement of Deborah Fowler, who served its board since 1996, COTA Insurance has appointed Leila Henderson and Wayne Lyons as new directors.
Henderson brings to the board a wealth of experience in journalism, public relations, editorial management, and marketing. She founded two successful IT and media businesses and worked for high-circulation publications in North America, the UK, and Australia.
Lyons, meanwhile, has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and general management, working with both large multinationals and Australian SMEs.
“COTA Insurance plays a key trusted adviser role for senior Australians across a full range of personal insurance services,” Chair Julie Obst said. “Leila and Wayne’s broad range of skills and experience will greatly benefit both our business and our members.”
