The consultation window for the 2023-24 Annual Pricing Review (APR) concerning the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has been extended until March 10, 2024.
This extension provides additional time for providers and stakeholders to contribute their perspectives on pricing arrangements and price caps within the NDIS.
The APR plays a pivotal role in maintaining the efficacy of NDIS pricing strategies, aiming to ensure they deliver value to participants, uphold fairness and consistency, respond to immediate market requirements, and guarantee the ongoing availability of services for participants.
In the spotlight for this year’s review are critical sectors such as services provided by disability support workers, therapeutic supports, coordination of support, and the policy on NDIS cancellations. These areas are detailed in the APR Terms of Reference and Consultation Papers, which seek input from the community.
Providers are invited to forward their feedback to the designated email address, [email protected], by the extended deadline. The deadline for feedback from participants is set for March 17, 2024.
For further details or to make a submission, stakeholders are encouraged to reach out to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) via email.
Last month, the government announced an $83.9 million investment to enhance the NDIS as part of a broader effort to ensure funds are allocated to beneficiaries within the system.
