National law firm Moray & Agnew has announced the appointment of Jacqueline Haski as a new partner in its insurance practice in Sydney.
Joining Moray & Agnew from Wendy Blacker Lawyers (WBL), Haski has many years of litigation experience providing technical and commercial advice to insurers, corporate entities, public authorities, and policyholders on claim-related issues.
She specialises in managing and defending complex, media-sensitive, and high-quantum general liability, abuse, professional indemnity, medical malpractice, and fraud claims. She is also an expert in providing detailed coverage and indemnity advice and navigating multi-insurer arrangements, complex contractual, and indemnity obligations between parties.
Haski's paralegal team, including Amy Reyes and Karen Jackson, will join her at the Moray & Agnew Sydney office. They will work closely with special counsel Caryn Ger, who joined the law firm in the second part of 2021, and partner Philip Lederman.
Moray & Agnew managing partner Geoff Connellan commented: “The skillsets and capabilities Jackie and her team bring to our practice complement the very strong practice Philip Lederman and his team have created for our clients in this area. This is a great addition for us and our clients, so early in 2022.”
The entrance of the three new hires to the Moray & Agnew insurance practice in Sydney follows the appointment of three experienced partners and lawyers in the Moray & Agnew Perth office in December 2021 – with the two also joining the firm's insurance practice and one leading its local government practice.
