National law firm Moray & Agnew has announced the appointment of Radhika Kanhai as a partner to its Melbourne office.
Kanhai is experienced in commercial litigation, insolvency, corporate recovery, trade practices law, franchising law, property disputes, corporations, contractual, and general commercial disputes.
A seasoned commercial litigation and insolvency lawyer, Kanhai has been recognised as a recommended lawyer in Doyle's Guide Insolvency and Restructuring Lawyers since 2017. She also received the Lexology Client Choice Award and the Outstanding Female Award 2018 by Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Victoria and was a finalist in the Australian Law Awards Mentor of the Year.
As a new partner at Moray & Agnew's commercial litigation and insolvency practice in Melbourne, Kanhai will help the law firm grow and cement the Melbourne office's position as a leader in commercial litigation.
Moray & Agnew Melbourne managing partner Bill Papastergiadis OAM welcomed Kanhai to the team.
“We're delighted that Radhika is joining our firm. Radhika is a highly skilled litigator, and her contribution will be invaluable to the continued success of our commercial litigation and insolvency group. Our already significant commercial litigation capabilities were bolstered with the addition of a litigation team in late 2022, and with the arrival of Radhika and her team, we are even more of a formidable presence in this area,” Papastergiadis said.
Kanhai’s appointment comes on the heels of Moray & Agnew’s promotion spree in June.
