Specialist motorcycle insurer mi-bike has renewed its commitment as the premier partner of the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) in 2024.
“We are incredibly pleased to deepen our partnership with Motorcycling Australia and continue as the naming rights sponsor for the ASBK Championship 2024 season,” said Mark Bradlet, general manager of mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance.
“With this sponsorship renewal, we’re showing the great trust and respect we’ve built over the years as well as our shared commitment to supporting motorcycle sports and promoting our brand values through the Australian Superbike Championship.”
According to a report from mcnews.com.au, mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance provides comprehensive coverage tailored for both on-road and off-road purposes. Their policies shield against a spectrum of risks including accidents, malicious acts, storms, floods, fires, theft, and transit-related incidents.
“As ASBK goes from strength to strength, it’s terrific to welcome back mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance as the naming rights sponsor. The company shares our confidence in the championship and has been an integral part in making it what it is today,” said Peter Doyle, CEO of Motorcycling Australia.
The 2024 ASBK season kicks off at the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit from Feb. 23-25, coinciding with the FIM Superbike World Championship, the report said. Following this, the championship moves under the Sydney Motorsport Park lights on March 22-23.
Highlighted by star riders such as Josh Waters, Mike Jones, Glenn Allerton, and Cru Halliday, along with emerging talents like Cameron Dunker, Harrison Voight, and Tom Toparis, the premier Superbike class is poised for intense competition throughout the season.
The ASBK Championship features a diverse calendar across various Australian circuits. Tickets are now available for both the Phillip Island and Sydney Motorsport Park rounds.
