MetLife has announced the appointment of Diana McKenzie as new board director, effective Nov. 1.
McKenzie currently serves as chief information officer for enterprise cloud-applications company Workday. Prior to Workday, she held a range of technology roles at Amgen, including as senior vice president and CIO, during her 12 years with the California-based biopharmaceutical company.
"During her nearly three decades of experience Diana has been a technology leader and innovator, and will bring digital and technology knowledge and perspective to the board,” said Steven Kandarian, MetLife’s chairman, president, and CEO. “I look forward to her guidance as MetLife continues to build out its digital capabilities to support its global operations and serve its customers."
McKenzie has been recognised as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council, as well as one of the Top 25 Women Leaders in SaaS by the SaaS Report.
