Marsh has named Dean Mumm (pictured above) as its new Pacific sales leader, a role in which he will oversee business development and market expansion efforts across the region.

In his new role, he will report to Josh Roach, chief executive officer at Marsh Pacific, and Marcus Pearson, chief commercial officer at Marsh McLennan Pacific.

Mumm was previously the head of corporate sport, having joined the company in 2017. Before entering the corporate sector, Mumm had a lengthy career in professional rugby, playing 112 games for the New South Wales Waratahs and earning 57 test caps for the Wallabies.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Mumm is involved in advocacy work. He and his wife, Sarah, co-founded Borne HMRI, a scientific collaboration with the Hunter Medical Research Institute that supports research on preterm birth and its impact on families.
