Ace has appointed Andrew Hill as a senior account engineer.
Hill will report to Darren Cant who has recently been promoted to the position of Australian risk engineering manager.
His civil engineering background is said to help support the continued growth of risk management service capabilities in Ace’s construction insurance business.
Hill started his career as a civil Engineer before moving into the insurance industry in 2004. He has held a variety of risk engineering roles throughout his career and specialises in property and public liability for large construction and civil engineering projects.
Giles Ward, country president – Australia and New Zealand for Ace, said: “With the appointment of Andrew Hill, Ace has further enhanced its capacity to provide risk engineering services across Australia and New Zealand.
"Ace clients involved in large construction and engineering projects will have access to the advice and guidance of a specialised property risk engineer.”
