Vero has announced two key appointments in the wake of a change of the distribution operating model of the company.
The moves will see Yusuf Alexander become state sales manager NSW/ACT and Megan Lewis take on the same role in Victoria and Tasmania.
The change of distribution operating model was designed to build on existing relationships within the market as
Sam Sanfilippo, became international intermediaries national manager, and
Anthony Pagano, was appointed commercial intermediaries manager
in September.
Pagano said that the move finalises the change in model as further changes are not expected.
“This finalises Vero’s state leadership team and helps build a dominant distribution footprint in the intermediated commercial market," Pagano said.
“Yusuf and Megan will lead teams that are dedicated to providing commercial brokers with the tailored service they need to support their clients and grow their business with Vero.”
Pagano stressed that the promotion of both Alexander and Lewis highlights the strength in depth of the company and the new distribution operating model will help the company moving forward.
“These promotions from within reflect the depth of talent and expertise that exists within the business,” Pagano continued.
“Vero’s recently-announced distribution operating model provides brokers with specialised support by a team that has a thorough understanding of their priorities and specific needs.
“It’s all about having the right skill-sets and capability that creates value for our brokers and customers.”
Alexander, who has been with Vero for seven years, has more than two decades experience in the industry in a variety of predominantly broker-facing roles while Lewis , a senior associate of
ANZIIF, has been with Vero’s broker distribution team for more than ten years.
